Historicity/Historicism

Dear Professor,

I agree that there is a lack of attention to historical linguistic diversity. My expanation is that the neo-liberal market economy seems to work on the PACKAGING OF THINGS including knowledge and concepts creating a FALSE appearance of newness. When you dig the history, you realize what is being sold to you as something new is actually made new. It is the presentation and an acute sense of niche marketing of knowledge and ideas on play . The ones who turn the pages of history are often labeled as ‘eccentric academics’!
