    Having taught Japanese to international students in Japan and JFL learners in Korea, Akiko Hiratsuka arrived in Sydney in 2004 for a postgraduate degree. Soon after her arrival, she met her husband-to-be, an international postgraduate student from Colombia, and they married and had a baby girl in 2009. In this video, she tells us about her multilingual marriage life and childrearing in English, Spanish and Japanese. While her life is intricately connected to three countries, Japan (birthplace), Australia (migration) and Colombia (marriage), she is still searching for a place to call home.

    今回のJapanese on the Moveに登場するのはシドニー在住の平塚昭子さん。日本と韓国で日本語を教えた後、大学院進学の為2004年に来豪した。到着して間もない頃にコロンビアからの留学生と出会い、2009年に結婚そして初出産。現在は英語、日本語そしてスペイン語に囲まれた多言語国際結婚生活と子育てに忙しい日々を送られている。3つの国（日本、オーストラリア、スペイン）に深い繋がりを持ちながら、現在も「ホーム」を探しているとお話してくれた。
