Gregory Haimovich is a PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw, Poland. He graduated with a master degree in Linguistics and Ibero-American studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has been involved in several research projects dedicated to language contact, ethnohistory, language policy and language revitalization in Latin America, having published a number of journal articles and book chapters on these topics. Herlinda Márquez Mora is a Mexican national and Nahuatl speaker from the community of Tenango, Zacatlán municipality, state of Puebla. She graduated from the Luis Pasteur Nursing School in Zacatlán. She is currently employed as a health councilor of the Tenango village council and has also been collaborating with a group of Indigenous translators from her community.
