Robyn Moloney and Andrew Giles

Robyn Moloney is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, Faculty of Human Sciences, Macquarie University. She teaches Methodology in Languages teaching, and ESL teaching, Literacy in a Multicultural Society, and supervises PhD projects relevant to language issues. Her research interests and publications include intercultural development and learning in students and teachers, language pedagogy, narrative enquiry, and heritage language learners. Previously, Robyn taught Japanese, French, and German in secondary schools. Andrew Giles is a fourth-year undergraduate at Macquarie University studying for a Bachelor of Arts (Modern History) and Diploma of Education (Secondary). Andrew received the MDR Roberts prize in 2013 for Modern History, and was awarded the Summer Scholarship in 2015. Andrew lived in Germany throughout 2009, and studied German at Macquarie University. He writes art essays, journal articles and music, and has a particular interest in Australian history, national identity and social justice. Andrew has worked as a youth worker, taught English abroad and now tutors in English and education.
