Yuanmeng Ma is currently an undergraduate majoring in English at Yunnan University, where she will graduate in the summer of 2020. Her bachelor’s thesis examined how learning Arabic empowers Chinese Muslim women from less-developed areas. She is passionate about multilingualism, intercultural communication, and women rights.
