Are you a family based in Australia using a language other than English at home?
- Do you have a child between 6 and 14 years of age?
- Are you keen to boost your home language in creative ways?
Researchers from UNSW would like to talk to you about your and your child’s experiences related to your home language use.
We are particularly interested in your family’s home language practices, the use of technology, your language in public spaces (such as restaurants and shops), and how your multilingualism has influenced your child’s language learning.
Participation involves collecting a diary for a couple of weeks and attending an informal online or in-person interview (participant’s choice). For more information, please contact Dr. Ana Sofia Bruzon (Postdoctoral Research Fellow) or Dr. Muhammad Iqwan Sanjani (Research Officer)
The chief investigators are Associate Professor Anikó Hatoss and Professor Louise Ravelli.
Participation in this research is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
This research has the approval of the Human Research Ethics Committee at UNSW.
